Viticulture
The Perrier-Jouët Champagne House, founded in 1811 by Pierre Perrier and Adèle Jouët, sources its vintages from exceptional terroirs (Aÿ, Mailly-Champagne, Avize, Cramant) and is distinguished by a style that combines aromatic richness, refinement and subtlety. Perrier-Jouët is distinguished by its iconic bottle for the prestigious Belle Époque cuvée, created in 1969 by Émile Gallé. The Belle Époque 2014 cuvée is a blend of emblematic crus (Cramant, Avize, Chouilly, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Vertus, Mailly).
Oenology
This cuvée is aged for a minimum of six years and has a dosage of 8 g/l. It is adorned with the Japanese white anemone, an Art Nouveau motif designed by Gallé in 1902. The 2014 vintage benefited from a mild, rainy winter followed by a dry spring and a contrasting but rainy summer, with ideal conditions from September onwards for optimal ripeness, resulting in a vintage champagne that combines complexity and fruitiness.
