Bourgogne Chardonnay, Arnaud Ente - 2018

Viticulture

The estate is located in Meursault and was established on 1 January 1992. It currently covers 4.30 hectares, 3.05 hectares of which were acquired from Arnaud Ente's father-in-law, Philippe Thevenot, who is now retired. Vines planted in Meursault in 1973 and 1986: 0.25 hectares in the locality known as ‘Les Clous Perrons’. Another vineyard planted in 2002 in Puligny-Montrachet: 0.27 hectares in the locality known as ‘Les Equinces’.

Oenology

Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place entirely in oak. No chaptalisation. Maturation for 12 months in demi-muids (600-litre oak barrels) then 6 months in stainless steel vats. The wines are fined but never filtered.
