Viticulture

Located on the plateaux of the Bordeaux appellation, this vineyard is monitored annually. Clay-limestone soil, 30 ha of vines. Certified organic, this Bordeaux is in keeping with the time and values of F. Thienpont.

Oenology

Aged in stainless steel tanks.

As you may know, there are many Thienponts in Bordeaux, but they all come from the same family, which started in the wine trade in 1842 with the grandfather Camille. Today, his descendants are called Nicolas (Pavie-Macquin, Puyguéraud, La Prade), Alexandre (Vieux Château Certain), Jacques (Le Pin) and François Thienpont. The latter is at the head of Wings, which is a reference in the Bordeaux wine trade. The wines he signs under his name express their terroir and their vintage with the greatest sincerity.
