Arbin Mondeuse, Tout un Monde, Louis Magnin - 2018

Tout un monde is an exceptional Mondeuse from a small parcel of vines over a hundred years old! A rare wine, produced in only 3000 bottles. Dense but low in alcohol, it remains fresh on the palate and above all very juicy, with superb ripe fruit (black cherry, violet, liquorice and light truffle nuances). It has a long, fruity finish that will only become more pronounced with age. Guide Vert RVF: 95/100

The estate, a family business par excellence, covers 8 hectares mainly located in Arbin, in the Combe de Savoie valley, near the town of Montmélian. The Magnins have been certified organic since 2012, but have been using biodynamic viticulture since 2010. Adjacent to the Bauges massif, on the slopes of Arbin-Montmélian, they claim mondeuse in the Arbin cru, but also produce bergeron, thus roussanne, on the Chignin cru; Roussette de Savoie (or altesse) and jacquère. A wide variety of soils and a south/south-east exposure contribute to the ripening of the grapes, which then express the strength of their great...
