This is the original plot of the first Gamay that Christophe made. It was a vineyard that had become almost wild and sparse. He describes this wine as "a little old for a new wine". It has wild strawberry and berry aromas, which are very lively on the nose. The palate is complete, with a fine synergy on this wine, with a very successful central base. Superb finish. An excellent wine!

Christophe Abbet is an unclassifiable winemaker and the enfant terrible of the Valais. On the terroirs of Martigny and Fully, he produces some of the most original wines of the region. In particular his sweet wines, incredible wines of time, which he makes in his small cellar in Martigny-Bourg. These wines are the peaks of the Valais in their category! Baroque wines, flirting with fruit or spice horizons according to the vintage.
