Characteristics

Berry Bros. & Rudd began in 1698 when the widow Bourne founded the specialist shop opposite St James's Palace. The current generations of Berrys and Rudds still run the family business at 3 St. James Street.

Oenology

The Caol Ila distillery is located near Port Askaig, facing the Sound of Islay and neighbouring Jura. Its whisky is highly respected both for its distinctive, smoky Islay style and for its elegant, fruity balance.
