Characteristics

LVX Gin was produced in 2018 at the Saconnex d'Arve Distillery, the oldest in Geneva, which has been in operation for over 120 years.

Oenology

The three plants chosen for this batch were macerated for a long time before being cold distilled separately at a boiling temperature of about 30 degrees using a rotary evaporator (ROTAVATOR). This very special machine creates an air vacuum in the evaporation flask and thus significantly lowers the atmospheric pressure, allowing the boiling point to be well below normal values, which preserves the plant and gives the distillate very different aromas from those of a conventional still.

Suggestions for accompaniment

Pure with a violet european and an ice-cream, or in a cocktail with an elderberry tonic.
