In the heart of the village of Meursault, Jean-Marc Roulot and his sister Michèle have taken over the family estate. He is known to all as one of the greatest Burgundian winegrowers.
Oenology
This eau de vie is produced by fermenting and then distilling Bergeron apricots from the Rhône Valley, the same variety used for the liqueur. Since 2020, the estate has also been working with other varieties, including an older one, Rouge du Roussillon, which come from an old family orchard taken over by Raphaël Hoffmann in Boulbon, south of Avignon.
