Aims and ethics of Taste Week
Taste Week is part of a sustainable development initiative aimed at preserving our culinary heritage. The events that make up Taste Week reflect the richness of taste and everything related to food based on respect for products where people and the land still play an important role. They encourage us to come together to eat, making us realise that eating is a time to recharge our batteries and enjoy ourselves. Taste Week aims to:

  • Promote the diversity of tastes and food cultures.
  • Promote exchanges between professions in the food industry.
  • Raise awareness among younger generations about the pleasures of taste.
  • Make consumers aware of product quality.
  • Showcase artisanal expertise.
  • Promote health through a varied and balanced diet.
  • Encourage the discovery of quality products.
  • Preserve tradition and encourage culinary innovation.
  • Revitalise the art of home cooking.
It is aimed at children, young people, men, women, families, teachers, and anyone who loves to eat, wants to discover quality products, and take the time to savour and enjoy food.
Each event organiser undertakes to:
  • Create a specific event to promote a product, a recipe, a skill or conviviality.
  • Work with quality products.
  • Be committed to giving their event an educational aspect.
