Definition: Vitiplus

A regional association in Vaud that brings together all winegrowers practising integrated cultivation. Vitiplus is their professional website, which is part of Vitisuisse and Vinatura. 80% of Swiss wine producers apply the basic principles of integrated production. This entitles them to a subsidy, not to mention that they can go further by obtaining the Vitiswiss certificate, which leads to a quality label. To achieve this, they must meet at least seven out of thirty criteria and attend a minimum of two training seminars per year. This requires a significant personal investment of time, but it pays off and the quality of the product is better. See the Vitiswiss and Vinatura associations.
