Definition: Vinalies

One of the most important, the Vinalies Internationales, the only French competition affiliated with the World Federation of Major International Wine and Spirits Competitions (VINOFED), has now achieved such renown that it has crossed the borders of Europe. Since its creation in 1993, this competition has continued to grow and has become an international event in which French wines compete alongside other wines from around the world. At the 2004 edition, a record 37 countries were represented and 2,269 samples were tasted.
