Synonyms: Antiboulen or Antibouren, Sarreiron in the Cuers region (Var), Tiboulen.
Description: medium to large, conical, winged, loosely packed bunches; medium-sized, ovoid, black, juicy berries.
Production characteristics: early bud break. Productive. Susceptible to mildew, anthracnose, yellow spider mites, stalk desiccation, millerandage depending on the year, and esca. Suitable for acidic soils.
Its grapes keep well on the vine and are sometimes sold as table grapes. Late first period ripening, approximately two weeks after Chasselas.
Approved clone: only one, 1063.
Type of wine/aromas: part of the Côtes de Provence, Palette and Coteaux Varois en Provence wine varieties. Produces a fine, delicate wine with little colour, to be consumed quickly.
