Definition: Tempranillo

It is the most widely grown red grape variety in Rioja and one of the most important grape varieties in Spain. It is also found in Argentina, California and various countries around the Mediterranean. Its wines have a fruity bouquet with a slight hint of raspberry, are low in acidity and light.
