Shoot: dorsal side green with red stripes; ventral side green; nodes green; glabrous.

Tip of branch: open; white with pink edges; abundant flat-lying hairs.

Young leaves: green with bronze patches; abundant flat-lying hairs.

Adult leaf: small to medium, round; slightly indented or with 3 lobes; medium green; strong blistering; wide teeth with convex sides; petiole sinus slightly open in a V shape; abundant flat-lying hairs; main veins on the upper side of the leaf blade moderately coloured.

Cluster at maturity: medium to small; medium length; medium compactness.

Berry: small to medium; rounded; yellowish green; thick skin, visible navel; slightly aromatic flavour.

Shoot: dark brown; striated surface.

Phenology: medium to late bud break; medium veraison (2nd early period).

Cultivation aptitudes:

Vigour: medium.

Fertility: average to good.

Resistance: when the Visperterminen vineyard was replanted after phylloxera, the variety proved to be highly virus-prone (striated wood), which caused significant incompatibility problems with grafting.

Characteristics of the must and wine:

Very sweet, balanced must with good acidity and a slightly aromatic character. Wine with fairly complex aromas reminiscent of exotic fruits.
