Back Bordeaux region. Production area located about 50 kilometres south-east of Bordeaux, on the right bank of the Garonne, more precisely within 10 communes in the Gironde department. Classified as an AOC in 1937. Area under production: just under 50 hectares. White grape varieties: Muscadelle, Sauvignon and Sémillon. Produced exclusively as white wine. Can be kept for 3 to 6 years. Ideal temperature for drinking: between 8 and 10 years. Pair with: cheese, an excellent Roquefort would be a perfect match.
