Definition: QmP

In Germany, Qualitätswein mit Prädikat (quality wine with distinction) is a designation reserved for quality wines that have not undergone chaptalisation. The label must indicate the potential alcohol content. QmP wines are divided into six categories. See Kabinett. They are analysed and subjected to tasting.
