This is the name given to the few collectors who seek out the metal caps that cover the corks of sparkling wines. The wire cage that holds the cork in place is applied over this cap. Most champagne houses and other producers of quality sparkling wines use caps with advertising printed on them. It is precisely this last element that interests collectors.
