Definition: Navarre

Neighbouring Rioja, Navarre has managed to overcome its complexes to develop a demanding wine industry. Formerly known exclusively for its rosés, it is now making a name for itself in reds with grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, while gradually abandoning Grenache in favour of Tempranillo.
