Definition: Mireval AOC (Muscat de)

Languedoc region. Production area located about fifteen kilometres south-west of Montpellier, more precisely within the municipalities of Mireval and Vic-La-Gardiole, in the Hérault department. Classified as an AOC in 1959. Area under production: just over 260 hectares. White grape variety: small-grain Muscat. Vinified as a white wine, natural sweet wine. It can be drunk as soon as it is released. Ideal serving temperature: between 6 and 8°C. Enjoy as an aperitif or with fruit pastries.
