Back In Germany, the quality of blended wines made from at least 70% Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Sylvaner and Kerner is often mediocre. Generally produced as a semi-dry wine, Liebfraumilch is almost exclusively intended for export, unfortunately to the detriment of Germany's finest products. Due to its sweetness, it does not convey an accurate image of the country's wines.
