Definition: Lausanne Hotel School

It is the only European hotel school to be accredited as an Institution of Higher Education by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC, USA). In Switzerland, it is the only hotel school offering HES (Haute école spécialisée) level courses recognised by the Federal Council.

Committed to training future high-performing executives, EHL regularly adapts the content of its three programmes to reflect new technologies and market trends. Since its foundation in 1893, the École hôtelière de Lausanne has trained more than 30,000 executives in the hospitality industry, who now form a valuable network of contacts for all members of the EHL community. Currently, 1,400 students of more than 80 nationalities enjoy the unique study and living environment offered by the École hôtelière de Lausanne.
