Definition: happy hours

Happy hours are usually held in the late afternoon (after work) and/or early evening (before dinner), Monday to Thursday. The promotion generally consists of offering a second identical drink for every drink purchased. Other expressions for discounted periods: mezzo-mezzo, all-inclusive, bourse aux boissons.
Swiss law prohibits the practice of enticing consumers by offering spirits at reduced prices.
