Back A Burgundy appellation in the Côte de Nuits region. Production area located to the north near Nuits-Saint-Georges, more precisely within plots in the commune of Flagey-Echézeaux in the Côte d'Or department. Classified as an AOC grand cru in 1937. Area under production: just over 8 ha 60 a. The total area covered is 9ha 14a 45ca. Grey grape varieties: Pinot Beurot; black grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Liébault. The incorporation of a certain number of white and grey grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinots into the vines used to produce red wines is permitted, provided that they do not exceed 15%. Vinified as: red only. It can be kept for a very long time, from 5 to 20 years and beyond. Ideal serving temperature: between 15 and 16°C. Enjoy with: red meat or game such as venison or wild boar.
