Definition: Emerald Riesling

Back
A recent white grape variety obtained in 1935 by crossing Muscadelle and Riesling. It is increasingly found in California, South Africa, Australia and Slovenia. Highly productive, it produces lively, fresh and vigorous white wines in cool climates. In warm climates, it retains a fruity acidity and has a spicy aroma.
