Definition: citron

Aroma from the fruity family of citron fruit, a citrus fruit larger and with thicker skin than a lemon, used mainly in pastries, confectionery and perfumery. In Corsica, it is used to produce a liqueur called cédratine. This aroma is very present in certain sweet wines.
