At Mouton, nothing changes. Quite the contrary! In recent years, the house style has been restored to its former glory. Since 1995, the wine has regained a rigour that had been lost, both in the cultivation of the vines and in the harvesting and vinification processes. The artistic and prestigious label that adorns its bottles has thus regained its meaning. Classified as a second growth in 1855, it has been a first growth since 1973. Its motto, "First I cannot be, second I will not be, Mouton I am," has thus become "First I am, second I was, Mouton remains unchanged."
What has made this vintage world-famous is its remarkable collection of labels created by contemporary artists.
