The Château de Montagny-sur-Lutry and its vineyard in the commune of Lutry is one of the few wine-producing châteaux in the heart of the Lavaux vineyards, a region declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007.
Its history goes back a long way, as Montagny was a dependency of the Priory of Lutry, a convent founded in 1025 by the Chancellor of the King of Burgundy.
Today, Château de Montagny is a privileged working environment for the Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV), which became its owner in 1996, reserved for professional meetings and public relations.
The 3.5-hectare vineyard surrounding it also belongs to the BCV. This vineyard is still in operation, allowing the bank to produce its own wine.
It offers a truly remarkable view of Lake Geneva!
