The Bordeaux region known as Graves. A production area located about thirty kilometres south-east of Bordeaux, on the left bank of the Garonne, more precisely within the communes of Cérons, Illats and Podensac in the Gironde department. Classified as a communal AOC in 1936. Production area of nearly 120 hectares. White grape varieties: Muscadelle, Sauvignon and Sémillon, harvested manually when overripe through successive selections. Vinified as a sweet white wine. It can be kept for 5 to 15 years, or even longer depending on the vintage. Ideal serving temperature between 6 and 8°C. Enjoy with foie gras or with cheese, such as Roquefort.
