Definition: bienvenues bâtard-montrachet

Appellation of the Côte de Beaune located about ten kilometres south-west of Beaune, more precisely within the commune of Puligny-Montrachet in the Côte d'Or department. Classified as an AOC Grand Cru in 1937. Area under production: 3ha 69a. White Chardonnay grape variety. It can be kept for 5 to 15 years, or even longer depending on the vintage. Ideal serving temperature for enjoyment is between 8 and 10°. To be enjoyed with: lobster, crayfish or crayfish.
