The appellation area is located in the municipalities of Bandol, Sanary, La Cadière d'Azur, Le Castellet, and certain localities in the municipalities of Ollioulles, Évenos and Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. Yields must not exceed 40 hectolitres per hectare and Mourvèdre must account for at least 50% of the vine variety.
