This designation corresponds to that of Anjou-Villages-Brissac, a red wine appellation only. Classified as an AOC in 1950. Chenin white grape variety harvested manually when overripe through successive sorting, vinified as a sweet white wine. The special designation "sélection de grains nobles" (selection of noble grapes) may be added under certain conditions. It can be stored: ages very well in bottles, up to 10 years or more, depending on the vintage. Ideal serving temperature: between 8 and 10°C. Pair with: pike, salmon or eel.
