Definition: Arbois AOC

Back
Arbois is not only the wine capital of the Jura region and home to the Comité Interprofessionnel des Vins du Jura (Jura Wine Industry Committee), it is also the largest of the six appellations in the Jura wine-growing area. It covers 840 hectares and produces around 70% red wines. The plots around Pupillin are considered to be the most favourable for this type of production, but the white and yellow wines are just as remarkable.
