Main tasks:
Improving the quality and profitability of producers:
- organising technical inspections of plantations.
- Maintaining the vineyard register, including grape variety records.
- Processing applications for authorisation to replant, plant new vines or plant early, insofar as this improves the establishment and grape varieties of the vineyard.
- Quality premium scheme to encourage the development of quality wines.
Improving the security of producers' incomes.
- Establishment of a selection procedure for everyday wines.
- Implementation of a programme to restructure vineyards in the south

- Allocation of temporary financial assistance
Meeting consumer needs and developing external markets:
- sales promotion activities
- financing of general information and promotion activities for table wines and local wines at national level and for export.
