In France, a tax certificate (congé) accompanies alcohol during transport, justifying the payment of circulation duties. For bottled wine, the document is usually replaced by a tax capsule (capsule congé). The tax stamp is printed on this capsule, the colour of which varies according to the type of alcohol.
