Domaine Gérin is one of the most respected vineyards in Côte-Rôtie, a legendary appellation in the Rhône Valley, famous for its steep schist terraces. Champin le Seigneur' comes from a parcel classified as Côte-Rôtie, a blend of Syrah and a small proportion of Viognier, the latter adding finesse and elegance. This 2021 vintage reveals aromas of black fruit, violets and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is dense and structured, with supple tannins and great length, all wrapped up in a fine minerality. Wine Spectator: 92/100
