Characteristics

At the start of its ageing process, this cognac is quickly transferred to new casks to retain the natural aromas of the eaux-de-vie. It will then be transferred to an old cask to continue its development in a damp cellar to enhance the roundness and accentuate the rancios. This cognac contains no additives, sugar or caramel. Only a light filtration is carried out to preserve its aromatic qualities as much as possible.

Oenology

This blend is a mixture of eaux-de-vie with and without lees aged between 25 and 30 years, selected exclusively from the Petite and Grande Champagne terroirs. With an ABV of 40%, the natural reduction of the eaux-de-vie is encouraged. This high ABV offers a more complete taste experience and a better perception of the aromas.
