Tauzinat l'Hermitage owes its name to the tauzin oaks, which were used in the past to make barrels and which have always bordered the vineyard plots. Cultivated area: 9 ha. At the heart of the appellation is the famous clay-limestone plateau. It is on this exceptional land that Tauzinat l'Hermitage is perched. Average age of the vines: 25 years. Integrated cultivation, ploughed or grassed soils, mixed guyot pruning, manual green work adapted to each plot.
Oenology
Harvesting with several sortings: maturity and size of the berries, parcel selection. Traditional vinification with gentle and controlled maceration in thermo-regulated concrete vats. Aged in new barrels (40%), barrels of one or more wines (20%) and vats (40%).
