Situated in the heart of Léognan on a gravelly terroir with a clay subsoil, Malartic Lagravière is distinguished at its best by a particular finesse. Since 1997, major investments have been made by the new owners, Michèle and Alfred-Alexandre Bonnie. Surface area in white: 7 hectares. Planting density 10'000 vines/ha. Double Guyot pruning. Average age of the vineyard: 32 years. Yield 36 hl/ha.
Oenology
Manual harvesting. Successive sorting. Slow pressing, cold storage and fermentation in barrels. Degree of fermentation: 20-22°. Aged on lees with stirring in French oak barrels, 55% new wood.
