Situated on a limestone and siliceous promontory overlooking the Dordogne valley, in the extension of the neighbouring Saint Emilion terroir, it has been managed by Jean-Francis Pécresse since 2003. On 4.5 hectares of this terroir, one of the best in the Canon-Fronsac appellation, thirty-year-old vines produce Château Canon Pécresse using sustainable farming methods. The vines are partially grassed and the leaves are thinned out manually. Since May 2011, the château has been advised by Stéphane Derenoncourt.
