Thirty years have passed since Bernardo Luna began producing wines. Now, the second generation of the family, represented by Alejandro Luna Beberide, only aspires to follow this line of simplicity and quality. Thus, they continue the work of care and respect for the vines of the estate, as taught to them in 1998 by Mariano García, previously oenologist of Vega Sicilia and founder of Bodegas Mauro. Together, they created the estate's first benchmark red wines.

The local climate is ideal for growing vines, with mild, moderate temperatures and perfect humidity for good grape ripening. It is similar to that of Galicia, with less rainfall, which is typical of the Castilian regions. Thus, in these privileged soils, the mencia loses some of its natural acidity to gain in fruit brightness, with exquisite raspberry notes.
