This the little brother of the mythical Terra di Lavoro and it celebrates the rare piedirosso grape. Dark in colour, the nose offers a beautiful aromatic intensity, with notes of black fruit, truffle and smoke. The palate is full-bodied and voluminous, with an irresistible flavour of liquorice black fruits. The texture is velvety, with energetic, very Italian tannins. Doctor Wine : 95/100 : James Suckling : 93/100 : Gambero Rossso: 2 Bicchieri.

Domain
In the heart of Campania Felix, on the volcanic land of the ancient Roccamonfina volcano, Azienda Galardi cultivates the fascinating aglianico and piedirosso grapes in organic and even biodynamic fashion. From this they produce two wonderful and surprisingly powerful wines: Terra di Rosso is a jewel of fresh fruit and convinces with its greedy tannins, while the aptly named Terra di Lavoro (the old name of the province where it is produced) is a monument and an ode to its territory.
