Anjou blanc, La Croisée des Chenins, Eric Morgat - 2017

  • Provenance: Loire
  • Appellation: Anjou
  • Domain: Eric Morgat
  • Grape variety(ies): Chenin
  • On-call time: 10 years
  • Alcohol degree: 13%
This is a rare, ephemeral cuvée, following the frost of 2017. It is the result of a blend of grapes rescued from the Clos Serteaux, La Roche aux Moines and Litus terroirs. It starts with the brightness of a very ripe fruit, around orchard fruits and a more exotic nuance. Then comes a mineral dimension. If the attack impresses by its density and size, the wine is perfectly dynamic in the mouth. Decant for 1 hour or open from 2024.

The two banks of the Loire were exceptionally united that year. Certified organic cultivation, the yields are on average 22Hl/Ha.
