In just under a generation, Corinna Kruse-Faravel has become one of the best winemakers in the Southern Rhône Valley. Once again, she has surpassed herself to obtain this wine with almost perfect balance: a beautiful ripe, kirschy nose, which precedes a juice with fine tannins, tending towards spicy strawberries. It is difficult to imagine a Côtes du Ventoux that is more gourmand, precise and fair. A priority purchase!

Viticulture

The 8.5 ha of vines are located in the foothills of the Dentelles de Montmirail, north of Beaumes de Venise, between Lafare and Suzette, in the commune of Barroux. The soil comes from Triassic formations, with a fairly variable depth.

Oenology

All the red grapes are destemmed but not crushed. Fermentation takes place in concrete vats, with little intervention. Short maturation in vats, blending of the whole harvest, this is how the wine reflects the whole of the Martinelle vineyard.

Suggestions for accompaniment

Barbecued prime rib - Whole red mullet and black olive tapenade.
