Montepulciano is both a grape variety and an appellation, and is the emblem of Abruzzo's wine region. Cultivated between the sea and the mountains, with strong thermal variations, this rustic variety takes on irresistible spicy accents. Farnese's is delightful with notes of blueberry, pepper and liquorice; the body is round, with ripe, fresh tannins.
