The "Petit Lion" was created for the 2007 vintage, following the uprooting and replanting of vines mainly on several parcels of the "Grand Clos", to receive the wine produced by the youngest vines and to contribute to the improvement of the two great wines.
Oenology
The grapes are harvested by hand. The vinification is carried out in a large number of wooden, cement or stainless steel vats, ranging in size from 40 to over 200hl, thus allowing for flexibility in adapting to the size of the batches. The wine, after transfer, is aged for about ten months in oak barrels (about 10% new).
