Lavaux, St-Saphorin Les Manchettes, Monachon Père & fils - 2022

Produced from poor, ideally exposed soil in a particularly favourable vintage, this Chasselas by a great Lavaux name has an explosive nose of pear and rubbed flint. It is incisive and full-bodied on the palate, with a fine perlage that accentuates the freshness. It can be drunk young, decanted, or after a few years’ cellaring, when it will reveal the full character of its great terroir.
