From a mythical vineyard overlooking the Ligurian Sea and rooted in centuries-old schist, this Cinque Terre by Elio Altare has sensational notes of mirabelle plum, melon and jasmine. It is strikingly fresh with a great velvety texture. It is a wine that is both full-bodied and very savoury, with surprising staying power in the glass. A great terroir is reborn! Serve at 14° and decant for an hour.

Elio Altare - a great winemaker from Piedmont - is behind this crazy project in the Cinque Terre, the Ligurian vineyard famous for its extraordinary beauty. Here the Phoenicians already cultivated the vine over 3000 years ago. The work is so difficult on these schist terraces set between sea and sky that few winegrowers can make a living from it. With the help of his companions, Elio invests himself fully, benefiting from local support. 5600 bts produced for the world!

Oenology

Pelicular maceration for 4 days at 12-14O. Matured in vats in order to favour the purity and the crystalline aspect given by the schist terroir. No filtration.
