Viticulture
Château Talbot is a Saint-Julien wine made from 94.3 hectares of vines in a single block at the heart of the appellation. These vines, which are on average 42 years old, are ideally located on the banks of the Gironde estuary and rest on the gravelly hillsides of the Médoc.
Oenology
Harvested by hand, the grapes undergo successive sorting (manual and optical) before vinification in wooden vats. The wine is aged for 15 months in barrels, 60% of which are new.
