This great Beaumes-de-Venise was born on land close to the Dentelles de Montmirail, with soils and exposures that are conducive to the production of red wines of character: a nose of tobacco, blood, truffles, spices and sunshine; the palate is full-bodied, sappy and has a richness of constitution that is enough to make many of the neighbours from Gigondas and Vacqueyras tremble! Technique

Viticulture

The estate is situated at an altitude of about 300 metres, in the foothills of the Dentelles de Montmirail, and includes numerous terraces. It is now composed of 12 hectares, cultivated according to organic principles. The grapes for this cuvée are picked at full maturity on two different terroirs (80% Trias soil and 20% grey marl).

Oenology

Grapes destemmed and not crushed, gentle manual punching down, indigenous yeasts, matured in concrete tanks, no fining, no filtration.

Lamb curry - Duck breast with orange - Samossas.
