If you think you don't like muscat, you absolutely must taste Jean-Michel Novelle's, because this variety of Alsatian origin (muscat ottonel) gives a wine with surprising aromas of basil and lemon thyme, aromatic but not primary. It strikes by its tension and its juicy and nervous side, sapid. A very fine bottle of gastronomy, which calls for spring cooking and the beautiful fish of the lake.

Viticulture

Le Grand Clos is a family estate of 7 ha located in the commune of Satigny. The vineyard on the hillside is grassed over and maintained with the utmost rigour. A lot of work is done in the vineyard, which produces little but gives healthy and concentrated fruit. The grapes are harvested when they are fully ripe in terms of alcohol, phenolics and aroma.
